1) An experienced cutter and joiner, experience cutting and joining required, preferably with experience on a Pistorius double mitre saw or similar, and Cassesse underpinner.

Bonus skills and considerations:

Assembly and finishing experience working with textiles, shadowboxes, and other jobs that can be considered "off the menu".

Those without experience, thank you for your interest but we cannot train candidates at this time

2) An experienced picture framer, p/t, As well as using a manual mat cutter, this candidate ideally should have experience working with textiles, shadowboxes, and other jobs that can be considered "off the menu". Someone living in the downtown core preferred. Start date is anytime. Shifts can be flexible, maybe even one or two a week? let's make it work!

3) Sales Support team player

Do you love art? You see the most amazing pieces in this shop.

We are looking for a Sales Support team player. Picture framing experience is a definite asset. Successful candidates assess items as they come in for framing and present estimates to clients.

Sales experience we’re looking for: all retail experience is relevant experience. We’re going to hire a candidate with great communication skills, strong fundamental math skills, and good instincts. Every day, people trust us to frame things that are deeply personal and/or irreplaceable, and protecting this material is at the core of everything we do. Art students and recent graduates have been a nice fit for this job over the years.
